ASCCA staff members take part in the Azerbaijan-Lithuania business forum

An Azerbaijani-Lithuanian business forum was held in Baku during the visit of a delegation led by the President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda to Azerbaijan. The event has been held at the Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku and was attended by the presidents and government officials of both countries. ASCCA staff members attended the business forum as well. Following the speeches of the presidents, a signing ceremony of agreements covering various areas was held between Azerbaijan and Lithuania.

 

During the meetings with the Lithuanian delegation, the Academy staff met with Adviser to the President of the Republic of Lithuania Vaidas Augustinavicius, Deputy Head of the Lithuanian Mission to Azerbaijan Viktoras Dagilis, Vice-Rector of Mykolas Romeris University, Prof. Regina Valutyte and representatives of various Lithuanian institutions and held talks on developing mutual cooperation. During the meeting, the Academy of the State Customs Committee presented a book entitled "Azerbaijani Customs: yesterday, today, tomorrow" published on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the State Customs Committee to Vaidas Augustinavicius, Adviser to the President of the Republic of Lithuania.
