ASCCA signs A Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation with “Prosol”CJSC

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Academy of the State Customs Committee (ASCCA) and “Prosol” Closed Joint-Stock Company (CJSC) on June 9.

The head of the Academy of the State Customs Committee Gulu Novruzov, staff of the Academy, Chairman of the Board of “ Prosol”Babek Agayev and representatives of the company attended the meeting.

The head of the academy, Major General of the Customs Service Gulu Novruzov greeted the guests and expressed hispleasure to see them at the university. Speaking at the meeting,Gulu Novruzov briefed the guests on the establishment of the Academy of the State Customs Committee, the educational process and its activities in the field of international cooperation. He noted that the Academy is the only representative and member of the World Customs Organization (WCO) Regional Training Center, as well as the International Customs University Network (INCU) in our country. Speaking about the current importance of cyber security and future prospects of cooperation between the Academy and “Prosol” in this field, Gulu Novruzov also touched upon the organization of internship programs for students, the involvement of IT specialists in the teaching activities of the Academy and other issues of interest. He expressed confidence that the memorandum to be signed will make an important contribution to the development of bilateral cooperation.

Expressing satisfaction with his visit to the Academy of the State Customs Committee, Chairman of the Board of “Prosol” CJSC Babek Agayev praised the activity of the Academy in training highly qualified personnel in various specialties.He gave detailed information about the concept and activities of “Prosol”, a company specializing in cyber security, cyber risk, cyber defense and cyber monitoring services. Emphasizing the importance of practical knowledge in the field of cyber security, along with theoretical knowledge, Babek Agayev expressed confidence that joint activities in areas of mutual interest would be fruitful for both parties.

After the discussions, Gulu Novruzov, Chairman of the Academy of the State Customs Committee, and Babek Agayev, Chairman of the Board of “Prosol” CJSC, signed a memorandum of understanding on joint cooperation.

The memorandum is aimed at organizing interactive and joint projects, conferences, seminars and discussions, as well as support the development of students' knowledge and skills, professionalism, worldview, and other issues.

At the end of the meeting, symbolic gifts were presented.

Following the event, the guests got acquainted with the conditions created for the students of the Academy and the customs officers participating in the retraining courses, as well as the new language lab and the auditoriums equipped with modern technical controls.
